Grilled Steak with Fresh Dragonfruit Salsa

Ingredients

For the steak

2 ribeye or sirloin steaks

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

½ tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp olive oil


For the salsa

1 red dragonfruit, diced

½ cup diced pineapple

¼ cup finely chopped red onion

1 jalapeño, minced (optional)

2 tbsp chopped cilantro

Juice of 1 lime

Pinch of salt


Steps

1. Season the steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and olive oil.


2. Heat the grill (or skillet) to medium-high.


3. Cook the steak:

Grill 3–5 minutes per side for medium-rare

Adjust for preferred doneness



4. Let steak rest for 5 minutes.


5. Make salsa: Combine dragonfruit, pineapple, onion, jalapeño, lime juice, cilantro, and salt. Mix gently.


6. Slice the steak against the grain.


7. Serve topped with fresh dragonfruit salsa.
